Refund Policy

At Diamonds International we want you to love and cherish your diamond jewellery purchase. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your item within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, subject to meeting the requirements of our refund & returns policy.

In this returns policy, the expressions “we”, “us” and “our” are a reference to Diamonds International Pty Ltd ACN: 101 132 902

Returns Policy

  • You may return new items sold and fulfilled online by Diamonds International within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.
  • To apply for a refund you must complete our online returns form, contact our Online Customer Care team or email salesonline@diamondsinternational.com.au to initiate a return. You’ll need to provide your order number, contact details and reason for return.

  • Returns and Refunds cannot be returned at any of our 4 Diamonds International store locations in Brisbane without authorisation.
  • Items should be returned in their original product packaging with the original product tags attached and with all paperwork (such as diamond certificates & valuations). Include a copy of your shipping confirmation email or order confirmation email in the package.
  • All shipping return charges must be pre-paid. We cannot accept C.O.D deliveries. We require that returned items are insured during delivery (such as Australia Post ‘Extra Cover’) to safeguard against loss.
  • All returns are subject to inspection by our Quality Assurance team before a refund is processed. We refund you the same way that you initially paid for your order excluding any delivery charges within 15 business days of receiving your returned item. Diamonds International will pay for any return shipping costs if the return is the result of our error or the item is damaged or defective.
  • Goods are eligible for the 7 Day Change of Mind policy provided that they are in as new condition and are accompanied by proof of purchase and original packaging. Definition of ‘As New Condition’: The item must not have been worn; the item must be in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. 7 Day Change of Mind

Goods are eligible for the 7 Day Change of Mind policy provided that they are in as new condition and are accompanied by proof of purchase and original packaging.

Definition of ‘As New Condition’: The item must not have been worn; the item must be in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. Determination of an item matching the definition of “As New Condition”  is at the sole discretion of Diamonds International.

Special orders and pieces of jewellery hand-made to customer specification are not eligible for the 7 Day Change of Mind Policy.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Governing law

This returns policy is governed by the laws in force in Queensland, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

As soon as your order is dispatched from Diamonds International, you will be sent an email to confirm that your package is on its way.  If we are unable to meet the estimated delivery timeframe we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery. We recommend that you provide a suitable daytime address to ensure your order can be accepted. Please also include a daytime phone number with your shipping details to ensure we can contact you regarding your delivery if required

Diamonds International uses the Australia Post Express Post service for all deliveries so that your purchases arrive as quickly as possible. This system is fast and secure, as all deliveries must be signed for.

If orders are received before 3pm EST* on a business day, it will be sent that same day. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday. Any order made on the weekend will be sent out the next business day. We aim to have your order to you as quick as possible.

Within Australia

We deliver all our orders to you via the Australia Post Express Post Service. Australia Post guarantees next day delivery for major cities and approximately 1-2 business days for all other areas. Please keep in mind that delivery time frames are estimates provided by Australia Post and can vary due to unforeseen circumstances within the postal service.

All shipments

We accept the risk (other than for consequential loss) of the goods being lost in transit until arrival at the address nominated by you in your order, provided it is a location to which normal business deliveries can be made. We do not accept any responsibility for delay in delivery. If delivery is delayed by your unreasonable refusal to accept the goods (or in the case of insufficient authority or instructions have been given the leaving of the goods at the address – your collection of the goods from the carrier is unreasonably delayed), all risks pass to you from the time when the goods would have ordinarily been received by at the nominated address. In any case in which a customer makes changes or amendments to delivery that result in delay or loss, risk and responsibility pass from Diamonds International to the customer. You may be billed for storage in the case of ongoing delay in delivery or collection. You must inspect the goods promptly on delivery and if requested, sign a receipt for having received the goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Diamonds International offers free delivery within Australia for all orders within Australia.

How long will my delivery take?

Once your order has shipped, please allow 1 – 3 business days for delivery depending on your location.

What could delay my order?

We work hard to protect our customer’s personal and financial information from being used in a fraudulent manner. We undertake efforts to verify the security and privacy of all orders. Due to these efforts, most orders take a minimum of 1 – 2 business days before being approved for shipment.

How do I track my order?

When your order is shipped, we will send an email containing a consignment number and tracking ID.  Simply follow the link in the email to track the delivery of your parcel.

Alternatively you can track your delivery on the Australia Post Web Site.

Do I need to sign for the delivery?

For security reasons, a signature is required for all deliveries.

I’ve missed my delivery, what now?

If you’re not present when the delivery arrives, a notice will be left at your address providing details of alternate delivery or pick-up arrangements.

Australia Post will deliver the item to your nearest Australia Post location for pickup.

Do you ship internationally?

From this website you can only make purchases for delivery to Australian postal addresses. We require correct and complete addresses, including a company name where necessary, and at least one contact telephone number.

Can I change my delivery address?

We process and pack your order as soon as possible. This means that your shipping address can only be changed if your order has not been processed by our warehouse team. To change your shipping address, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible or call 07 3221 3677.

Security Policy


If you choose to pay for a service or product using the secure credit card payment facility available at this site you will be asked to provide your credit card details, your name, a shipping address and your email address. These details are required so that we can ship your order and a tax invoice / receipt.

We protect the security of your credit card information in every online transaction by using the latest online security methods:

Diamonds International will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service Provider’s logs.

Any order placed by you in the manner described in this website is an offer by you to purchase a particular product for the price (including the delivery and other charges and taxes) specified in this website at the time you place your order on these Terms and Conditions. Diamonds International reserves the right to accept or reject your order for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this website, or an error in your order. Your contract with us only comes into existence when it forwards confirmation of receipt of your order and payment.


Prices of products and services and delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability.  Please note that these exclusive online diamond jewellery prices are not eligible for further discounts at any time and are excluded from any further sale price reductions or discounts associated with Diamonds Internationals  annual Mid Year or End of Year Sales.


Promotions are subject to individual terms and conditions. Promotional discounts or offers must be applied at the time of purchase and are only available within their specified time frames. No refunds or adjustments will be made to customer orders regarding promotions that the customer was not aware of at the time or purchase.


Prices displayed on this website are inclusive of GST applied at the rate of 10%.

Diamonds International will retain title to the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products, but all risk in the products will pass to you upon their delivery to or collection by a postal or courier service. You should consider whether to obtain any suitable insurance.

The products sold by Diamonds International are all fine jewellery items that are made with love. These products are designed and made to be sturdy but are in no way indestructible. They need to be treated with the care that they deserve. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to amend incorrect prices and are not obligated to provide products at an incorrect price. Customers who order an item at an incorrect price are not obligated to pay the correct price and may cancel their order.

Diamonds International will in no way be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from use or inability to use the website or for the cost of procurement of substitute products or resulting from any products purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through the website or resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data or of any information contained on this website, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.


Diamonds International warrants to the end user (“Customer”) that the product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and service, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase from Diamonds International.  Diamonds International’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at Diamonds International option and expense, to repair the defective product or part, deliver to Customer an equivalent product or part to replace the defective item, or if neither of the two foregoing options is reasonably available, Diamonds International may, in its sole discretion, refund to Customer the purchase price paid for the defective product. All products that are replaced will become the property of Diamonds International.  Diamonds International warrants any replaced or repaired product or part for ninety (90) days from shipment, or the remainder of the initial warranty period, whichever is longer.

Products returned to Diamonds International must be sent prepaid and packaged appropriately for safe shipment and it is recommended that they be insured or sent by a method that provides for tracking of the package. Responsibility for loss or damage does not transfer to Diamonds International until the returned item is received by Diamonds International.   The repaired or replaced item will be shipped to Customer, at Diamonds International’s expense, not later than thirty (30) days after Diamonds International receives the defective product, and Diamonds International will retain risk of loss or damage until the item is delivered to Customer.


Diamonds International will not be liable under this limited warranty if its testing and examination disclose that the alleged defect or malfunction in the product does not exist or results from:

  • Unauthorized product modification, resizing or alteration.
  • General wear and tear
