A Beach Proposal and a Fluffy Ring Bearer

Hannah and Lochie met at a mutual friend’s 21^st birthday party back in 2013 and they have been a couple for nine years.

Lochie proposed on their seven-year anniversary. After a romantic dinner in Noosa, Lochie and Hannah took a walk along the beach where Lochie proposed with a beautiful 1.00ct Round Brilliant Cut Diamond Solitaire from Diamonds International. The excitement didn’t end there! The next day the couple picked up their new puppy, Alfred.

Alfred had a very special role at the couple’s wedding, he was the ring bearer. Their wedding was celebrated in Beerwah, surrounded by friends and family. When asked what their favourite part of the day was the couple has a beautifully simple answer: “for the both of us it was just simply seeing each other for the first time” says Hannah.

When choosing wedding bands Hannah and Lochie visited Diamonds International once more. Hannah chose a diamond band to match her engagement ring and Lochie chose a classic yellow gold band. Hannah surprised Lochie by having his wedding band engraved to say ‘I love you the most.’ Hannah says this lovely touch represents an adorable competition between the two.

We asked Hannah if she had any advice for other couples embarking on this journey, she said “don’t sweat the small stuff and just remember why you are there.”

When asked about her experience with Diamonds International, Hannah said “wonderful! The team was so helpful through the entire process. They even cleaned and buffed my engagement ring for free a week before the wedding”.
